To begin this workshop I wanted to introduce all of you to another important dasha system called the Narayana dasha. The video lecture for this week will be held on Thursday because I will be in meditative retreat this weekend.

Could you give an example of what the narayana dasha could be used to determine vs. the vimsotarri dasha?

I have two questions regarding the lecture.

In the 2nd example on page 2 it says: “The 5th will then be 5 from pisces, thus Scorpio, followed by Cancer and then add one sign to go to Leo, and continue following the 551 pattern.” Is it supposed to be Gemini instead of Leo?

And in example 1 on page two it says: “Taurus is a moveable sign”, but I think it’s supposed to say fixed.

Thanks for catching the typos courtney! Ted, the narayana dasha is normally used with greater accuracy for smaller areas of time. Vimsottari is good when seeing what an entire planetary period will be like.
